Since it typically grows on insects, the cordyceps supplement is usually made in a lab so it is safer and easier to consume as a human being. For the most part, it is made in labs in China, specifically because of how common it is to find cordyceps there.

There are over 400 different kinds of cordyceps which come from countries such as China, Korea, Nepal, Bhutan, Vietnam, and even Thailand. It is a brownish, orangish color and has a finger-like look to it as well. Wild cordyceps is actually very expensive and a kilogram of it would cost about $20,000 UDS, but the most common cordyceps today that are affordable are made from biological characteristics of cordyceps sinensis.

Used as a traditional form of Chinese medicine in China, in the United States, it is made as a form of a dietary supplement that comes in powder form, capsules, and so much more. This dietary supplement has been known to be used as a natural energy booster, along with having plenty of other benefits that are useful to someone’s health.
