This Chocolate Peanut Butter Smoothie Bowl is made with basic ingredients that you’re likely to have on hand and it can be ready in no time.

Chocolat For Breakfast - Who's With Me?

The light whipped-like texture will remind you of soft serve ice cream. This smoothie bowl is great as a dessert or snack, and staying true to my whole living philosophy. The recipe is packed with protein and healthy fats. And, and its the perfect flavor combination for loading on a variety of your favorite toppings like sliced banana, chia seeds, flax seeds, chocolate chips, nuts and granola. The options are endless.

This decadent chocolate and peanut butter smoothie bowl is a healthy, filling breakfast or snack when you want something sweet. It’s loaded with good for you ingredients, and stays true to my real food philosophy.

The chocolate can help boost your brain power and help you start the day in a healthy way. This smoothie bowl blends bananas that offer potassium and magnesium with antioxidant-rich cocoa and the healthy fats from avocado. The peanut butter supports satiety for good appetite control, lasting well into the lunch hour. It can also be enjoyed as a snack (or dessert) or you can save it as two small portions for a lighter serving.

Chocolate Peanut Butter Smoothie Bowl Recipe

Serving Size: 1 meal or 2 snacks/desserts

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup almond milk
  • 1 banana, frozen
  • 1/3 avocado
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 serving Healthy Skoop Daily Protein
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa
  • 1/2 banana sliced
  • 2 tablespoons dark chocolate chips
  • 1 tablespoon peanut butter (+ drizzle)

Instructions:

  1. Blend the milk, frozen banana, avocado, vanilla, Healthy Skoop B-Strong and cocoa until smooth and creamy.
  2. Serve in one bowl for a healthy breakfast or divide between 2 smaller bowls for dessert or a snack.
  3. Top with sliced banana and chocolate chips and drizzle with peanut butter.

If smoothie bowls aren’t your thing, by all means add a little more almond milk and make a deliciously sippable smoothie in a glass.  Cheers!
